Vasundhara Kavach literally means the protecting the earth by a ring of trees. It is our family's pledge to plant 100,000 trees by 2025 in the memory of our father Shri R K Jajoo. The name has been coined by Mrs Pallavi Gajewar, a school teacher at the Zilla Parishad School in Bhindon Village
Sushil Tambe is my colleague from Hatha Yoga School. He helped locate the Bhindon ZP school and bring the school and villagers together to support this initiative.
In the presence of school principal, Ms. Aruna Thakur, my mother planted the first of the 2100 trees.
